For those who want to travel by tour boat, we refer to Dalsland's canal traffic, which operates Dalsland's canal with its two ships M / S Storholmen and M / S Dalslandia.
In the event of an accident
All boats traveling on the Dalsland Canal must have valid liability insurance. Accidents are rare, but if one should occur, our lock keepers are close at hand. Contact the nearest lock keeper and they will help you.

Håverud – Dalsland Canal
We are currently looking for a handy drain repair technician
Dalslands Kanal AB is looking for you to join our Engineering & Service maintenance team for a hands-on job where no two days are alike. You’ll have a varied workload in a unique cultural-historical setting—one day you might be working on a lock gate or a dock, the next day on a building, clearing vegetation along the canal, or something else entirely that needs attention. The work is largely outdoors and takes place year-round, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working outside regardless of the weather. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Håverud.
