Guest harbors

Along the canal you will find several marinas with different services and charming locations. Most of them operate on a drop-in basis, making it easy to dock wherever it suits you. Only the guest harbor in Bengtsfors can be pre-booked - and you do that here.

Köpmannebro Guest Harbor

A small but pleasant guest harbor on Lake Vänern, right at the first entrance to the lock. It offers electrical hookups, restrooms, showers, and trash disposal. Inside the lock, there are staff members on hand to assist you, as well as a cozy ice cream café.

Upperud Guest Harbor & Parking Area

A family-friendly guest harbor with boat moorings on the Dalsland Canal in Upperud. Within walking distance of the Dalsland Art Museum, Hotel Upperud 9:9, and Café Bonaparte.

Håverud Guest Harbor & Campground

The campground and guest harbor are situated in a scenic location along the Dalsland Canal. The campground is operated by Håfreströms IF. Here, you’re close to the famous Aqueduct, restaurants, the Canal Museum, Dalsland Center, and more.

Mustadfors Guest Harbor & Parking Area

Across from Steneby School in the center of Dals Långed lies this gem, featuring a guest marina and a parking area with space for 8 cars. Swimming, a barbecue area, water, electricity, showers, restrooms, and chemical toilet disposal are available. A charming stop along the Dalsland Canal. 250 SEK/night for parking and guest marina access.

Långbron Guest Harbor & Parking Area

A pleasant guest harbor at the southern end of Lake Laxsjön, northeast of the lock, with basic amenities. It features a barbecue area, a swimming ladder, basic facilities, and a small parking area. The guest harbor is located about 2 km from the shops and restaurants in Dals Långed.

Laxsjön Guest Harbor

The guest harbor is located at Laxsjöns Camping & Friluftsgård at the southwestern end of Lake Laxsjön. The campground features a summer restaurant, a soccer field, canoes, mini-golf, a giant trampoline, and a swimming area.

Welcome to Bengtsfors Marina, located right in the heart of town. Here, you’re close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

Gustavsfors Guest Harbor

Gustavsfors Guest Harbor is conveniently located near restaurants, cafés, and a grocery store, yet surrounded by nature.

Fröskog's guest dock

Fröskog’s guest pier is located about 3 km from Fengersfors and the cultural hub Not Quite. In Fengersfors, you’ll find a café, a shop, a restaurant, and a wide variety of cultural activities to enjoy. In Fröskog, there is a beautiful church where you can take a guided tour during the summer months, as well as several bed-and-breakfasts.

Årjäng guest harbor

The marina is located in the northern part of Lake Västra Silen, about 1 km from downtown Årjäng, where you’ll find shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Adjacent to the guest marina is a parking area with electrical hookups.

Sillebotten Guest Harbor

A small, cozy guest harbor with very basic facilities in Sillebotten. Close to swimming spots and a self-service summer café.

Signebyn Guest Harbor

The marina is located in the northwestern part of Lake Östra Silen.

Lennartsfors Marina

Lennartsfors' charming guest harbor is located in the southern part of Lake Foxen. It's not far from a cozy café and a parking area.

Holmerudsfors Guest Harbor

Holmerudsfors Guest Harbor is a lovely guest harbor well worth a detour. The marina is located in the northeastern part of Stora Le in Fölsbyviken.

Töcksfors guest harbor

The marina is located in the northern part of Lake Foxen, not far from downtown Töcksfors. The guest harbor is right next to a nice campground.

Östervallskog Guest Harbor

The marina is located in the western part of Lake Östen.

Nössemark Guest Harbor & Campground

Stop by the charming harbor in Nössemark, where you can enjoy a coffee break and a swim. 200 SEK/night for up to 3 people, plus 50 SEK per additional person, and an extra 50 SEK for electricity.

Dals-Ed Marina

The Dals-Ed guest harbor is located at the southernmost tip of Stora Le. Situated in a quiet area, it is less than 3 km from downtown Ed, where you can shop, dine, or visit the motorcycle museum.
