Stroll around in a beautiful mill environment. Discover two completely different lock areas, enjoy culture, good food and an ice cream in the sun. Here you can also hop on one of the fine canal boats for a trip along the canal. The DVVJ train also stops in Håverud. The surroundings offer beautiful nature with many hiking trails.
In Upperud's historic surroundings, we recommend a stop at the Dalsland Art Museum with current exhibitions, a permanent Dalsland exhibition and a nice café. The old silo has been transformed into a unique design hotel with its own pier, locally produced menu and lovely lake sauna.

In Håverud you can get on one of the tour boats that operate the canal. You can take the tour to Bengtsfors or Långbron and then take the train back to Håverud.
