Canoe fishing license

The Canoe Fishing License gives you permission to fish in 11 different fisheries management areas along the Dalsland Canal in both Värmland and Dalsland with a rod, fly, spinning rod and reel. You can choose to fish for one, three or seven days.

Varied fishing

Here you will find flowing water, trout fishing, quiet lakes, mighty rift valley lakes and not least the inland sea Vänern. The variation and species richness is great. In Vänern alone there are around 38 species. In northern and northwestern Dalsland, the beautiful, deep and cold rift valley lakes spread out. Here you will find the large pike that make you think of the monsters of the past. There are also salmon, trout, char, perch and a lot of whitefish.
