Buterud is a charming and quiet place along the Dalsland Canal. From the house you look out over the lakes and the lock basin where the gates are still opened manually by the lock keeper just as they were when the canal was inaugurated in 1868. In this charming cottage, 2-4 people live comfortably

A peaceful accommodation with lake views. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, and a sofa bed for two in the living room. Bathroom with shower, toilet, and washing machine. The garden has a dining area with seating for six people.
The rental includes a motorboat and free lockage in the canal system during the sailing season when the locks are open. Life jackets and oars for the boat are available in the cottage.
A great starting point for fishing trips. But don't forget that you always need to buy a fishing license, whether you fish from land or from a boat.
If you need to go shopping, the nearest towns where you can stock up on supplies areÅsensbruk (20 km) and Dals Långed (30 km).
