Håverud
Slussvaktarstugan is centrally located in Håverud, one of Dalsland's largest tourist destinations with the famous aqueduct just a stone's throw away. Throughout the summer, boats pass up and down through the locks and from the garden of Slussvaktarbostaden you have a nice view of everything that happens. During the fall it is quieter. The cottage is close to many nice hiking trails and nature reserves for walking and mushroom hunting.

The cottage is 54 square meters with room for 6 people, one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, and a sofa bed for 2 in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is modern. There is a washing machine in the utility room.
The rental includes a motorboat and free lockage in the canal system during the sailing season when the locks are open. The boat with motor and oars is located inside the waiting bridge at Håverud Manor.
A great starting point for fishing trips. But don't forget that you always need to buy a fishing license, whether you fish from land or from a boat.
If you need to shop , the nearest communities for provisioning are Åsensbruk (2 km) and Mellerud (16 km).
